Un, Dau, Tri

I'm very surprised that no pronunciation guide was offered for this question.

The correct pronunciation is "een, dye, tree". I wonder how many question askers came anywhere near this, and how many pronounced un to rhyme with 'bun', and dau to rhyme with 'cow'?

Although I wouldn't claim to be in any way fluent, I do know a few words in Welsh; and one thing I can do is count up to ten. When asked what came next in the sequence "un, dow, tree", I didn't even recognise the language.

Even when the words were spelt out, that still didn't help. What little Welsh I have, I learnt at my mother's knee – I had no idea how these words were spelt!
